Marco Environment factors that influence and affect the businesses marketing decisions:
Economic: When the world was in economic crisis the traders were troubled with a decline in sales luxury swimwear were greatly affected.
Political and Legal: When Australia was battling a drought. Water restriction were put in place which affected the sales of children's pool toys and swimming gear.
Social and Cultural: Helped play corp make money with the distribution of cookware like baccarat etc. with television programs such as Masterchef and Huey's kitchen.

Play corp targets the niche market with many of its products like Seafolly swimwear, this product can retail from $109 to $400 . This products demographic dimensions include the female gender that would buy this product that is targeted for young adults 16-24 years of age. The lifestyle of the customer would be fit and loves going to the beach and goes on beach holidays quite a bit. The income would be at a high rate and not a scarfed Muslim woman would be buying swimwear for herself obviously. The Geographic dimension is city life close to the beach or pools. The behavioural dimensions familiarity with the brand  internationally and nationally. The frequency of buying swimwear would be every summer and the customer would go to a department store or a Seafolly store. Information collection of data is collected who social websites like Facebook where customer can give feedback, their opinion and also check out the new styles and savings in store sales. Teen magazines for the young adults have many pages dedicated for feedback. Internal information like sale figures, trends, quality data, profit and loss data is also important.

Play corp distribution is a company that has many branded companies that are sold through Australian retail. Everlast is one of the key components to keeping Play corp successful. Everlast plays a big role in the fitness market with merchandise in stores like Rebel sport, Almart store etc. Everlast is one of the most recognisable boxing appeals. Everlast brand is represented in over 101 countries and holds 88 licensees worldwide and was founded in 1910.Everlast’s marketing is solely dependent on Everlast Corporation with many celebrity endorsements including Mohammed Ali etc and appearing in many boxing movies like Million dollar baby etc.

Definition: Everlasting - Lasting or enduring forever; existing or continuing without end; immortal; eternal. "The Everlasting God." Gen. xx1. 33; Continuing indefinitely, or during a long period; perpetual; sometimes used, colloquially, as a strong intensive; as, "this everlasting nonsense"

A pair of plain black on piece Seafolly bikinis retail for $109 at Myer but the whole sale price is $54.50 at a rate of 55% less the retail. The distribution channel is Manufacture- Whole saler(Play corp)- Retail(Myer)- Customer.

The promotion strategies and their effectiveness include having many of their products in product placements example Baccarat Cookware being used in television programs like Masterchef, Better homes and Gardens etc. this is very effective because it saves money on television commericals and is a great way of showing the product in a good light. Having many celebrities showing off Seafolly swimwear in summer is great to send trend and being photographed and published in the newspaper equals free publicity.
Annual launch party, shows off the the latest products This is effective because many influential people come to support and publicised.

In the early 1970s, a black and a white high school was closed down and the students sent to T.C. Williams High School under federal mandate to integrate. The year is seen through the eyes of the football team.Coach Herman Boone was hired to coach, he's African American over the highly successful white coach Bill Yoast who is white.Conflict and anger were arises when players of different races are forced to work together and play on the same football team. Many of racial comments and conflict were eased during the two week training camp in Gettysburg.
Gerry was the white team captain and Julius was the black teams captain, these two characters are important because they developed an amazing friendship built on trust and respect. They learnt to appreciate the meaning of trusting a man’s soul rather than their colour. They worked to overcome the racial issues and heal the conflict. In the beginning Gerry and Julius would not acknowledge one another, they were like cat and dog. The community was very negative and did not help the team, both the blacks and whites the blacks were hostile and the white community were going to boycott the seasoning by not letting their sons play on the team. Later on in the movie, Coach Boone and family were at the new house their neighbours are white and ignorant. While they were unpacking their furniture etc one of their neighbour was looking outside their window and said are they the removalist.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, I have announcement to make. We've got Jerry Lawis and Dean Martin going to the camp with us this year. Jarry tells the jokes and Dean sings the songs and gets the girls. lets give 'em a round of applause." says because of Gerry and Dean being racist and not being polite to black members of the team, bbefore the boys of both the black and white players are leaving to go to the football camp they were separated into different buses, but Coach Boone doesn't tolerant this, so he mixes it up and gives them all a partner that their going to share a room with. Get to know about their personal life and hopefully start to knowledge each other and become a team united as one.

"This is not a democracy. It is a dictatorship. I am the law!" this one of the most powerful things that Coach Boone said. Both Coach Yoast and Coach Boone reduced prejudice and Discrimination by sustained contact is when someone holds prejudices against an outer group person but their prejudice/stereotype will be reduced with frequent interaction. Before the departure of the team they were separated into color in different buses but Coach Boone made them mix they were told to slept mixed and know each others personal life. Evidence of mutual interdependence is two rival

AMERICAN APPAREL

American apparel Made in Downtown LA
American Apparel's industrial revolution has been in progress for nearly 10 years now.

American Apparel is an industrial revolution. American Apparel has kept it local when other manufacturers have taken it overseas
American apparel believes that having manufacturing under the same roof as design, marketing, accounting, retail and distribution gives them the ability to quickly mobilize all departments, to respond directly to changes in the market, and to have complete visibility over their product - start to finish.
Not only is this an efficient method for their company, but also for the environment. Vertical integration by definition shrinks a company's carbon footprint, as the materials are not shipped back and forth internationally, across thousands of miles, in the production process. As you can imagine, most garments you buy are the sum of disparate entities - knitted in one place, dyed in another, sold wholesale somewhere else and finally cut and sewn in unethical, sweatshop conditions.
This is many of American apparel slogan: "We don't have to do things this way, we just believe it's the right way".
This logo is exposed a lot and is very dominant. The font is Arial the colour is black its clean and simple.
This is effective, this communicates that American apparel is a sophisticated and a true American brand that is made in America.
These commericals below are very provocative and its seductive, this is communicated with the music used, the models and with the black and white tone.
The videos capture the essence of the company and feature of workers, friends and customers.
